So I decided to play some Minecraft Dungeons once again. This was spurred on by me seeing that a new DLC for it came out on the Minecraft launcher, my little brother was a big fan of the game and bought the season pass at some point so I decided to try the new DLCs out.Despite beating the whole game and its previous DLCs I couldn't remember anything about it other than a few little things after I got it up and running. Now that's not to say that it doesn't have any redeemable traits, I like a good portion of the new mobs it has but that doesn't change the fact that the game is super flawed and forgettable.Anyways I played the ocean DLC first and it was kind of fun, it wasn't great but it was fun. The final boss was more interesting than the previous DLC's ones and the new air mechanic was pretty interesting.I was disappointed that there wasn't any Axolotls in the DLC, they could have been an assist mob item but for some reason, they didn't add them in even if they added the goats and glow squids in.Either way it was pretty good, it showed the most promise out of them all so far which sucks because it's a separate DLC you have to pay for but still it wasn't too shabby.Now after playing the ocean DLC I decided to play the Nether one and god damn, it was like night and day ironically.The thing started off without any narration which was commonplace for everything else (aside from side missions) in the game but it didn't have one for some reason, it didn't help that the big magma cubes were glitching in and out of existence.Plus the DLC lacked any original content and was solely just stuff from the Nether. There was no storyline and there wasn't even a real final boss with them just making the Ghasts mini-bosses and calling it a day.The only thing I liked was how they included the Wither Skeleton's weathering mechanic which was a neat little inclusion.Well that and there was another CaptainSparklez "reference" lel.
