@polarisera @ArtistBristol The same argument could be made for investors.If they are full TRA, then I don' t understand why they even try to limit the damage by hiding these products (or take the distance): these people are generally so far gone to not accept reality (in this case the loss of money) even if it smacks them with a pink bat. If they just go along with the flow, then they should understand that promoting crap like this or similar is not really going to be a winning strategy.

They do it when we speak about rapists in women' s prisons, when we speak of mutilation of children, freedom of speech, or anything else.This is not going to hurt our reputation any more than anything else they use to paint us as the villain. They really don' t need a reason, just the fact that people saying to them exist.

@Chronic-Yonic I honestly am completely baffled by the fact that we reached this point. I don' t know how, and while I would love to blame it on money and greed alone, I think there is something seriously wrong with human beings at a deeper level.And considering the staggering level of immorality (social, political, medical, legal, you pick) and acceptance of that immorality of the past few years, I am even more baffled by the fact that we' re somehow starting to get out of it. Slowly, but we are.Too bad we are probably going to end up in the other side and we' ll have to deal with a period of repression of some kind. But if we are at a point in which mutilating children is praised and celebrated, maybe we do need some restrains for a little while. Humans seem incapable of reaching a middle ground and staying there for more than a handful of years. If only we managed to understand how to make it longer, we would probably be in a much better shape in out entirety.

@Chronic-Yonic @TheWitchBitch THANK YOU!!!!!Whenever I dare to say that people who can' t have children should get over it people try to make me feel like I have just said the worst thing EVER!At one point I discussed fertility treatment (I am not a huge fan of aggressive hormonal treatments or even IVF frankly), and since the woman I was talking to was pathologically depressed for not being able to conceive, she tried to emotionally blackmail me into liking this stuff by telling me that women can reach the point of being suicidal over it and being happy about these treatments meant saving their lives.This woman felt entitled to treat her child as a cure for her depression, and I was being "insensitive" by thinking that if you are pathologically depressed and suicidal, maybe having children shouldn' t be your priority (and mental illness in general should be considered a negative check when doctors think of giving you one of these treatments, just like it is when you are trying to adopt a child).I am simply against this fixation and I don' t think that someone so obsessed with something could be a good parent (see also the women who get uterus transplants) or even get cured from their obsession by having the thing they want: it' s just going to escalate and move onto something else.

They have been doing it for years with both LGBs and women.I hope we are at a point in which LGBs and women will just say "Nope, fuck you!" and go their own way. It' s not so much that they can' t find sources to know what exactly the procedure can bring, it' s that they refuse to, because they do not want to have any doubts and listening to butcherers, handmaidens and TRAs, who tell them that it' s not a big deal, it will solve every problem and nobody will ever be able to tell that it' s artificial is far easier than listening to the few doctors who tell them the truth or to us "evil TERFs.Not to mention that these people get incredibly aggressive (verbally and some times even physically) when you refuse to play along with their idea that everything will be perfect once they get these surgery. @HebrideanHecate Curious, the same thing made me 100% wary of surrogacy.Everything about that entire plot was frustrating and enraging, and I don' t know how anyone could see it as uplifting and wholesome.The parents of the children were a groomer and her barely legal husband she was a teacher of. After convincing the character to be their surrogate, she gets implanted and they are told by the doctor that it would take a while before knowing for sure if she got pregnant. They show up (I think the very same day) and pressure her to take a test to see if she managed to get pregnant, and behave exactly like you would expect, as if she was a mere tool for their whims.When she' s about to deliver, she has a mental breakdown because she realizes that she can' t keep and raise the children and has to give them away since they are not hers. She ends up going completely off the rails and guiltytrips one of her friends into asking the father of these children to leave at least one of them with her. I distinctly remember that scene of her in the hospital room wearing a maniac smile while she explains to her friend her plan.Then the friend tries to explain to her that it' s insane to even think that the parents would comply, and she goes "Well, three children are a lot of work, I would just make them a favour!".Yeah, so cute!!!!! 😩😩😩
