@sir But then the question becomes will it work with Swift Package Manager? 🤔

@kline I always worry about reviews like that muddying the water for future users. Someone reads or watches a review about this device that sounds like a good alternative, but when they actually try it out, the quality of it is significantly lower. It's the type of thing that could turn others off for quite a while. The Librem 5 does look nice, but it looks to have a long road ahead until it can compete with modern Android and iOS devices.

@lain Pretty sure you have to drop acid before creating anything blockchain-related. All of these projects have such insane naming.

@mrbill0 Do you have some that Proton doesn't work for? I've messed around with Lutris as a front-end for getting some to work that aren't on Steam, and had good luck there. Although definitely still not perfect.

@null @mrbill0 It might, although there's already some games where the Windows version under Proton runs better than the native Linux version. I would imagine for games where the Linux version is really just inside a Wine wrapper or something that is older and less efficient than Proton.

@smj As someone with zero Plan9 experience, what would happen there? Would it rename the file?

@resynth1943 It's easy to say you care about BLM when it makes financial sense to do so, especially if it distracts even a little from all of your other problems. "See, we're not so bad, we support the biggest social movement in recent history!"They won't care about fixing the other problems until they start losing money for it.

@khm It's been interesting living vicariously through people on here with this. I do t have the mental bandwidth to learn a new OS right now, so seeing others experimentations is a good replacement. For now, until I can try it myself.

@neauoire So do we think this future is coming? Or likely to come? Or more just prepare since anything that would be good preparation also has advantages for the now?
