       @Free_Press In a statement on Tuesday, Prime Minister #Netanyahu said, "Our hearts are always with the abductees and their families. Since the beginning of the war, we have been working continuously to free our abductees, including exerting increasing pressure since the beginning of the ground maneuver."And in the mean while the #IDF bombed the Gaza Strip, the area where the hostage are (somewhere) kept, basically indiscriminately?  A fake expression of concern it seems to me.

       @Barrikoi1 @chris @anderspuck "It is good to be intellectually rigorous in one's language"  - Yes, but at the same time "if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's most likely a duck". IMHO Anders Puck makes the mistake of putting too much weight on the intellectual & literal meaning of, for example, the word #genocide and not enough on the actual observations of what's happening.

       @jik Not exactly confined to #Judaism. It's not difficult to observe that every #religion happily ignores, selectively interprets, etc. their own teachings when expedient to them.
