@PhilGastwirth @monorailtimes I feel like you’re also pushing yourself into the higher end Mac laptops when you might not need to. The integrated ram and SSDs combined with the M series chips….. the air level can do some great stuff. Obviosly everyone’s use case is different but damn are these SOCs good.

@monorailtimes @PhilGastwirth I’ve got an old surface laptop I keep around for a handful of windows only software I randomly need. I keep thinking about going cloud but as long as the laptop works, eh. Of course one day I’m gonna pick it up, it’ll have a blue screen, and I’ll need lots of research that day 😂

Seems about right for Amazon. They roll out in garage delivery with large PR push. It saves them from claims of items not being delivered due to porch pirates. It also likely gets them sales of garage door openers / bridges. And once it's got a high enough adoption rate.... they roll it back.
