Kinda seemed strange when that horrific old video of the girl trying to get through to her grandmother about her abuse popped up again out of the blue. The unconnected mugshot added to the photo was enough to set every one off again with a new rage and passion that hadn't been seen since the video first made the rounds years ago. Ultimately the worldview we have is based in reality, but propaganda, even when misleading, rouses the passion in RW that is directed at abstract evil that still exists in the world. It is wrong to mislead people. We don't need dishonesty to prove we're right. But can I complain each time inaccurate propaganda inspires righteous anger? Yes, but so long as the righteous anger persists, I think the result is a net positive. If bad propaganda precipitates ultimately positive outcomes rooted in "big-picture truth", I really can't be all that picky in the end.
