       @hyde I WISH mastodon would support RSS in the opposite direction. I don’t want another app to read mastodon posts, I want mastodon to show content from other sources/rss feeds. That would make Mastodon into a truly dominant app imo

       As one of the heavy podcast listeners that failed to move to Spotify when they made some of my favourite podcasts into exclusives, it’s heartening to learn that I was in the majority, not the minority after all (https://variety.com/vip/podcast-exclusivity-is-quickly-becoming-an-outdated-strategy-1235495652/). Podcast exclusivity was obviously a cynical ploy from the beginning, here’s hoping this news is the death knell.Thanks to @pluralistic for the good news
