       I guess I should do this #introduction thing:I'm a 38-year-old #softwareengineer living in the US. I lead several teams that cover a fairly large surface area, including abuse-fighting, insider risk mitigation, #security and #privacy controls, compliance and regulatory obligations, and durability/referential integrity/data location of data in multiple backends used by the service we run.In my spare time, I play lots of #videogames, #knitting, dabble in music production, and pet my #cats.

       I'm nothing if not verbose, but I realize I should've mentioned I'm also an avid reader - I mostly like fiction (especially science fiction and fantasy), and just finished the #Culture series by Iain M Banks, and I'm 8 books in to #Discworld (going in publication order).
