@mekkaokereke Part of what keeps me tethered to "the bad place" is that by and large the people who discuss things I'm interested in are there, and the people who are here do not discuss things I'm interested in.I'm black. I work as a mechanical engineer. i like music and pop art and video games and sports, among other things. I'm not tryna read toots about SW or academic journals or UX/UI or someone's cats or niche streamers.

I'm supposed to be packing for a work trip so I'll make this quick.My psychiatrist is being hella annoying. I recognize that this Emotional Dysfunction is likely caused or exacerbated by being sleep deprived. But it's 0130 and I do not want to fucking sleep. It's all so intensely lonely. Feeling bad and having no one awake that I can just vent to. Leaving messages for someone to read in the morning feels pathetic.I hate #ADHD

@Samdicide I've heard 'weaboo'/weeb, I've also heard "Ameriboo.'But britiboo? For the bri'ish?That's a new one.I think interest the (sub)cultures of other counties is dope in general, but for me the -boo generally has connotations of being obsessive or obnoxious.
