       When staff commute to our workplace on a $6000 e-cargo bike, people notice.   When I arrive on my $100 MTB,  people just ask if I need a lift home.I'm wondering : do fancy bikes help move the needle on acceptance of bike transport (among motor-normative people)?  Are they good advertising for the audience of people who can afford driving?#BikeTooter

       @solarbird Does this kick in if you use a google browser to edit your WordPress/Wix/whatever site, on an iOS platform like an iPad?So using Safari or Firefox would prevent this?

       @drgeraint I've sneezed goop into my motorcycle faceshield & been blinded; stung by a bee riding a bike; pulled a groin stitch in a crosswalk & stopped.  None of that means I deserve to die.Obviously this bus driver was not prepared for possibilities.  Coach bus horns are (A) friggin loud; and (B) for emergency use

       STOLEN BIKE SEEN!  My wife's stolen Gazelle C380 is now up for sale on Facebook "$500 OBO" in Saint Paul.   I have a Minneapolis Police case #, but they never even called me back.Is there a helpful detective at MPD/StPaul who helps?  Do I just go try to buy it back for $500?  Or is there some way to get MPD's help?  It was really very expensive for us, and we really can't mess around if there is any chance to get it back.   What should we do?

       @futurebird If they had just wanted a micro fiche with punch card, they could have used oversized film and punched the film directlyBut they also wanted human readable printing, and maybe to allow handwriting, so they used paper card stock
