@BrodieOnLinux oh at last! now if Valve fix the virtual screen in VR they can almost say that SteamVR actually works propperly on linux (not bitter at all)

@BrodieOnLinux yeah. I suppose a lot of people wanna ditch Windows and their best experience of Linux is on the Steam Deck. @BrodieOnLinux yeah I was pretty disappointed when I saw this post... He's claims he just doesn't care but the fact he posted this rant clearly indicates otherwise. Don't get why he couldn't just be happy there's a cool new Wayland stack emerging like everyone else, even if he doesn't personally like it.

@BrodieOnLinux saw you saying turning off a display closes the windows on that display, on my machine it works perfectly. Workspaces are moved to my other monitor, and move back when I turn the display back on, maybe it's a 3+ display issue.

@BrodieOnLinux ironically, Steam actually handles this really well. Though, importantly, they don't have any of the transparency. It seems they sample a random group of users and prompt them when they want data from them every time.

@BrodieOnLinux its funny, some people are shocked by this result, I suppose they must be Linux old timers. Speaking for myself, who started using Linux in 2021, I've never used x11 for any real amount of time, and I know several people who switched to Linux in the last few years and they all default to Wayland.
