@dick_turpin We tried these things on Friday.When the bag was opened in the car, it was like we got tear gassed.From what I can tell, they appear to be just regular nuggies, but once fried, they are tossed in a ketchup powder that binds to the breading.It also binds to your tastebuds and you cannot get rid of it for a good while afterwards.

First day back to work after a week off. Today is the 23rd anniversary of working in the same company.I also learned that the Solutions Architect I was working with was let go. And guess who gets to take on all those extra duties...Can I get a winning lotto ticket please?

@dick_turpin Awesome. You always think of me.Not much of a holiday though. Spent most of it working on the yard and the garden. Tore out part of the deck. Put up a gazebo. Built some furniture for the deck as well.

@dick_turpin Pfft, not so posh. The pergola would have been posh.But that would be a waste of money as we want to tear out the deck in a few years, lay a concrete pad instead and reconfigure things.

Really wanted a roast for dinner. As I had the day off, I did a blade roast. Slow cook in the cast iron dutch oven. Tossed in a bottle of Jamaican Dragon Stout for good measure.

So I was ill for a while. Had every symptom of COVID, but didn't test for it. Failed every test. Doc isn't sure if it was COVID or some viral flu.I do have to say that losing the sense of smell and taste for about 9 days was horrible. It wasn't until my wife was cutting up the lemon rosemary that I could start to smell again. That stuff was like nasal napalm. It was startling how strong it smelled after over a week of nothing.

@dick_turpin I think my main issue is that they are taking what is being spit out without modifying the content to their own disposition. It feels very robotic.
