@Grumblesock I'm glad she changed her plans, but three months is a long time to be away. Not sure I could do that, but good for her.Yes, talk to her son. That is so unhealthy for her to be living in, not to mention dangerous.

@Grumblesock Good thought; get the carbon monoxide tester. That could definitely be changing her personality. And you should talk to her son; this sounds concerning. As far as holidays, I've never wanted to be away any longer than 3 weeks, and even that was long. When I had the house in AZ, the longest I stayed was a month, and I couldn't wait to get home.
