You get a little barrel out there and a full choke and you can get a little range and pattern control. I'm not saying you gotta have a 26 inch hunting barrel but honestly if its purpose driven to kill drones why not take the flagpole out there?Also it might be good (though expensive) to go bigger than a 12 gauge. You can fit a lot more shot in a 10 or even an 8 gauge shell. You gotta have some brass balls to shoulder fire an 8 gauge though.

Plus the guns heavy, the ammos heavy. The law of diminishing returns.
