       @vbuterin I have a potential use case for you. Voter registration in the US is a distributed, semi-interoperable, publicly visible system with a low transaction rate. Would costs on Ethereum be competitive to, and predictable as, the ERIC (Electronic Registration Information Center). This could act as an on-ramp for government ID to the blockchain.

       @clive I just had to replace the pedals on my hybrid (that I use for around the town and the gravel trail through the parks). To my friend's dismay, I put big mountain bike flat pedals instead of clip-ins.After reading your piece, maybe I'll consider it for one day in the future.
