My Governor in Colorado just signed an executive order that unvaxed can be turned away from hospitals. I’m glad this guy is finally on the radar. My dear friend’s husband is in a memory care facility here in Colorado. She was told today she’s not allowed in to see her husband unless she gets vaccinated. I’m pissed.

I haven’t figured out how yet but I want to help her fight. She is fragile herself after this gut-wrenching decision to transfer his care after it got too dangerous to have him home. She is with him every single day in this facility. I’m not going to quit until this is remedied for this sweet couple.

Update!!! I did some research and found out that Colorado has Covid regulations regarding Nursing home visitation. So I called the administrator of the nursing home that wouldn’t allow my friend to visit her husband today. I read them the regulation and explained I would take this as high as I need to go and she backed down FAST!!! My friend can now go visit her husband!!

This what the regulation says: Visitors are not required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test at the time of the visit. Visitor vaccination is preferred, but it should NOT be a condition for visitation.
