Popped open a terminal, spilled some anger into a post, and pushed it to the repo. A few minutes later, the emails indicating logins to the remote boxes.Jekyll site rebuilt and deployed.And then I was happy again :-)Just a karmic twist that the post was about my encounter with a fellow who was against such a solution in a different environment.

I am writing python software to pull json blobs from a server, extract javascript from those json blobs, identify affected code, patch it with some particular details garnered from other json blobs, repackage it it back into the blobs, and shove it back onto the source server.Meta programming? Software writing itself? I don't know. It all seems quite absurd.#happytuesday

Last WordPress posts? 9 Nov 2021. I thought to strip the words down to their essence, abandoning WordPress glitz, sequestering them in a hole with a different identity, unlikely to be found.Last gopher post? 27 March 2022 ~ almost a year ago.For a while I kept some things gopher-only, others duplicated on a nondescript static site. I had automation taking the text, updating in the different forms. In time there were just jekyll posts, the gopher hole abandoned.Last jekyll post? 13 Aug 2022. So many words… RIP

@ray The full collection of Venn diagrams of experience is interesting: I am in this world but not of this world. I identify with two worlds but am accepted by neither. I am accepted by two worlds, each opposed to the other. I am loathe to be defined as a member of any world, thus creating another. Are we confused or experienced or wise or fools when we say we know the difference between the cloud in sky and its reflection on the lake?It's something of an escape room for poets and philosophers and anyone else trying to make sense of his reflections, no?

Early morning, 56F, just past sunrise ~ a solo outing for a morning #coffee on someone else's patio. Notebook, fountain pen, a sip of fresh air and a cappuccino, a podcast playing softly in my ears: peace...Suddenly, two or three energized, boisterous folks in the running-wear. Figured they were deaf the way they cackled at one another as they moved toward the door...Then two or three more... then more.And then they decided outside would be better. And then I was surrounded by 25+ folks in running garb: cacophony.Now, sitting on my patio with my coffee to-go, watching the sunrise and a cat wandering through the garden.#happyfriday
