@djsundog @technomancy @kelbot @ajroach42 @jjg i too started with basic (QBasic), but I had a very thick book on it that I read and referenced frequently.. and the editor (for DOS, obvs) also came in a detailed contextual help (it all fit on a single floppy, though). Without these resources i don't think it's very approachable
