Walking through the cemetery yesterday really hit it home that not only will I never be buried next to a loving spouse and family, there's a decent chance that when I die nobody will be there to give a shit or even find out about it, until some stranger notices the smell.

The job I got isn't the best in the world or anything. It's kind of tedious, I'll never be rich doing it. But it's in my career field. I can call myself a professional artist again and not feel like I'm bullshitting myself and others. And even though a lot of it's boring, I'm in Photoshop and Illustrator all day. I'm not doing anything The people there are normal and don't seem like either the woke leftist lunatics I was surrounded by in LA, nor the recovered drug addict born again Christian crackpots at the last terrible job.The guy training me kept saying supportive things like, "relax, you got the job, you're good and you deserve to be here". I didn't even complain about anything yet. I suspect he's trained a lot of artists so he knows we're all neurotic. I think I'm hiding it pretty well, but it's nice that he cares.

So you straighties may not be aware, but in 1969 there was a riot at a gay bar in NY that is frequently credited as the official beginning of the modern gay rights movement. There was genuine oppression of the gays going on at the time, and since genuinely oppressed people don't have the luxury of other options, a violent rebellion was inevitable. But as the gay rights movement subsequently gained legitimacy, it was able to pursue more civilized means such as peaceful protest and legal battles. So I quite literally "got educated". Obviously it's never mattered one bit to the woke cultists. They just accuse me of lying about it, or they do a 180° and insist that having a formal education doesn't necessarily mean I know what I'm talking about. Which I actually would agree with. Except they were the ones just yelling at me to get educated just two seconds prior, so. Which one is it, clowns.

After shooting we went out to a nice restaurant and an empty casing must've been stuck in my shirt that whole time, I went to the restroom and it fell out and cling clanged on the floor right in front of a father with two very young children. I was like, uuuuuh, I was just at a range I'm not psycho I promise. Fortunately it's Florida so he said, "I have no problem with it, just wondered what caliber". Haha I wonder how that would've played out in LA. 40 S&W btw.
