@stux Yupp. Crypto currencies never became useful because of the value bubbles. So it is like you say: a ponzi scheme. I still played smart and made some money on it. And the technology itself and what you could have applied it to was interesting. Yet, totally inefficent in any realistic scenario.

@EU_Commission Stop this wind power nonsense. We need nuclear energy. Period. European interest has already caused a judicial crisis in Norway, where it’s indigenous are not given their rights due to european corporate interest. Moreover, wind power does not make nearly enough of what we need and make vast amounts of land intraversable.

@EU_Commission You don’t want to build that connection to #Norway. You will get robbed three times by every consultancy firm and then 5 times by national energy companies. It will take 20 years to plan, and every politician will want to get compensated.

@ErikUden @richlv let's try not to sow division here. It's the last thing we need. But know this: The Soviet union may have helped defeat the nazis after first aligning with them and getting betrayed, but... did anyone ask post Nazi Germany Eastern Europeans who suffered for years under Russian occupation how they felt about being put into that situation? We need deterrence. Please don't block this with what I can only describe as naive pacifism.

@ErikUden It caused the Soviet union to dissolve because they could not keep up. It freed half of Europe. It discourages others from using force instead of diplomacy.
