@lain_os @caskd Those guys are all dead and sadly few care about their ideas. Nothing wrong with philosophy but by itself it can't do much. Saying "Those gay little arduino projects", is like calling multiplication gay because it isn't calculus, even though you haven't even learned addition! What are you going to say about that when you are in a prankster's robot reticule and they send you a picture in real time? I have the best praxis. It's in it's nature and the nature of the universe. Absolute idealism disconnected from reality makes one ineffective in the real world.

@lain_os Why are you so scared of a challenge? You can get an arduino for less than $5, and it can open up a world of programming, electronics and mechatronics. You look like a poseur to me, hiding behind his Emacs because it is what he grew up with, and retreating into dead ideologies because it is easier than learning unforgiving electronics. Hard science physics doesn't care about your opinions, if you are wrong you are going to know it. Same with electronics like Arduino. Of course you are young and stupid so you can be forgiven for doing stupid things. Pie-in-the-sky subjective bullshit and Emacs, is that your limit?I have always wanted to build robots and other things, even though the technology was not quite there for most of my life. Yet here you are, able to take advantage of the new tech ubiquity yet lacking the spark or will to do so. You should try working out with weights or do more masculine sports like skateboarding, rather than the long distance running you do, which lowers testosterone. Which may explain why you lack the will to learn interfacing tech with the real world.
