There is no reason to tip-toe around the feelings of so-called "Christians". You will not find a less effective, meek little breed of human being than the American Christian. Under their watch, the biggest denominations of their pseudo-religion have embraced literal heresies and bent the knee to the earthly dictates of globohomo neo-liberalism. Like Sven said the other day, ACTUAL WARS HAVE BEEN FOUGHT OVER LESS.I'm not talking out of my ass either, look at the "schism" in the United Methodist Church in which roughly 80 % of the congregation is gonna swing hard to the left while a minority of disgruntled traditionalists fuck off somewhere. The same exact thing is taking place in the Catholic Church and all the other big denominations. What this means is that over time telling people you're a Christian who attends church services will be taken as an admission you're a leftwing progressive who accepts gays, trannies and drag queens. The broad majority gets to define the essence of the institution. You can correctly quote Scripture on this all day long and hide in a small independent church somewhere but by definition you will be a heretical extremist not associated with Christianity. Where online Christians go wrong is pretending they're associated with some greater moral authority. But they're not, their "moral authority" is increasingly just a dictate to be respectful of drag queens reading books about Tommy's two dads to Sunday Schoolers.
