       Whenever I’m having a bad day, I remember that children practice reading books to shelter dogs at the Humane Society of Missouri to help comfort them and reduce their anxiety, therefore increasing their chances to get adopted down the line.

       @stux same.I stay away from everything BF. Want nothing, need nothing, buy nothing.They are essentially warehouse overstock or end of line clearances and here in the UK, a Which survey found that a massive 99.5% of products surveyed over a 6 month period were cheaper at other times.I would only consider a purchase of something essential that I truly needed, I.e. dog food, toilet rolls, etc if they were cheaper, but that’s never the case.

       @stux hard agree.I’m so much more comfortable here, dipping in and out occasionally and always finding people and content that genuinely appeals, rather than seeing people locked into furiously divided debates that almost immediately descend into tribal abuse elsewhere.It’s a much more wholesome, peaceful experience and has made me seriously moderate my use of other social medias.

       @stux I won’t have AI devices in the house and have Duck Duck Go as my search engines on my own and work phones/tablets, etc. Got rid of the dreadful hotmail too, riddled with spambots.Never, ever accept cookies, always reject all and clear my data cache daily, but still way too much snooping.Haven’t been on FB for a year, which was terrible for targeted ads and now Insta is just as bad.So difficult to achieve any sort of decent level of privacy online now.
