@derek I said it in a YouTube comment, and I say it here: I fully agree with what you say.

@BrodieOnLinux It also violates EU law! So it‘s not just crazy, but „even stupider than police allows“ (a German saying, badly translated to English).

@BrodieOnLinux As far as I know it specifically violates EU law regarding competitors. I‘m not too well versed in it either, but that‘s what I heard/read.

@BrodieOnLinux A server that doesn‘t run has no load. Simple logic.

@distrotube @BrodieOnLinux Have you heard about this yet? https://reddit.com/r/AskHR/comments/11gztsz/updatega_employee_claims_she_cant_use_microsoft/While I am not convinced by the „religious“ argument, I see this as a win for Linux adoption in the workplace. What do you think?

@distrotube @BrodieOnLinux I completely get your point, and I agree. But it also means that that company now enables their users to choose a free and open source operating system by working out a configuration that enables them to do their job. Yes, it was an insane case that kicked off this process, but now it‘s in motion.

@distrotube @BrodieOnLinux which is, unfortunately, a possibility. I just hope it doesn‘t come to that.

@BrodieOnLinux Oh boy, what have I done… 😁 Jokes aside, you definitely make valud points in your video that I haven‘t thought of before, mainly the workload of IT increasing without monetary benefit.
