God bless the many adults that make youth sports possible. It’s certainly a labor of love. I helped coach my boys tee-ball team. There was really only one statistic I obsessed over, sand castles built (SCB), my goal was 0. We never got there, but I started rotating every player each at-bat, and it seemed to keep their little thumbs out of theirs asses most of the time, so that was a big win. It was a blast! #baseball #sports #YouthSports

The GOAT retired. All time Passing yardage, touchdown leader, Super Bowl winner. An amazing career that almost fizzled out at Michigan as he found himself splitting time with local 2 sports star Drew Henson. Brady ultimately took the job over in a shootout with MSU back in 1999, took over as the starting for the remainder of that season and following a standout bowl performance signed with the Pats. He got an opportunity after Drew Bledsoe hurt, won a Super Bowl and the rest was history. #nfl

Last night I sent out the yearly message to 15 old friends and cousins about the annual guys canoe trip which dates back to 1998, with a few baby years off. This is canoeing and camping for 2 nights along the Au Sable river in Central Michigan. We’ve had as many as 10, and gone with as few as 3. So far we got 5 of us, I’d expect probably 2 more, so 7 is good although, I prefer even numbers for the canoe. What’s you annual trip? #sports #camping #canoeing #fishing

@daniel For sure, we had a few baby years that changed things for a bit. The trick is. Have a planner (that’s me), stick to a weekend (first of August), cast a wide net (15 people) so people can rotate in and out without losing the feel of the trip. The downside is at some point you get too many hungover dudes at once who need to pack their shit up and get on the river. That’s why bloody Mary’s are a good motivator.

@drewharwell That’s an incredible question, people see a site that goes against their ethics and still push that bird button, it doesn’t make sense to me. I deleted my posts and likes in the run up to the musk purchase, then gave him 2 weeks. He sucked, I deleted the app. Easy

@drewharwell Ironically the last person I followed on Twitter, wrote an very interesting article about how Musk is leading a corporate charge to downsize, reduce wage, increase in-person work hours. The article stated that companies are watching to see if he’s successful so they can implement similar policies. I thought, “this guy can’t win, we all need to be off this site”, there was and has been a lot more since, but it was a huge red flag. I wish I remembered the author.
