@stux Unpopular opinion: I have a Mac (not my only computer) and I’ve run Linux machines in the past., but my Windows machines have always been the best combination of price, performance, usability, and compatibility (with the most amount of software). It’s popular to hate on Windows, but there’s a reason they continue to sit on top.

@stux About a month ago, my kids’ school went into lockdown. It turned out to be a “prank”; someone called in a false alarm. No one knew that at the time, though, and everyone was scared shitless. My daughter teared up when telling us about it later, about how scared she was. She said, “We didn’t know, and this is America, so I just thought, ‘Am I gonna die today?’” She’s 15. I hate it here.

@stux Sadly, I'm still paying on over $5000 for my daughter's ski injury last year, and $3000 for my bike injury this year. Living is expensive these days. :(
