Boy oh boy was I in belly of whale about major surgery in 2 weeks. Then my shelter bunkie drug me out to local steak house of my choice. Thirty minute wait at Rusty's Ranch House passed quick. We ordered late and then got placed after 40 guest-table order. It was supberb. I think I need my indigenous meat n potatoes diet with Scotch on the rocks and "Moose Tracks" ice cream -- at least once a year -- just to feel 'normal.' Happy New Year, New Zealand!!

@ademalsasa Mastodon is fun and social. I'm unsure why I'm like a duck to water with Mastodon and a complete failure on Twitter. Do you have a good reference for XMPP? I thought you did but I couldn't find it the second time. I only find info for developers. I installed Gajim and Im back to zero again.TGIF! which means thank god its friday. I don't know if that's relevant anymore with so many unemployed, self employed and multiple cultures in an electronic world.
