when you have a very privileged job that lets you take mental health days when things get to be too much, what are you supposed to do when life is too much and you have no job and you can't take a mental health day and nothing actually helps?

@sean well I've used the time to go camping and get my balls cut off and spend time with my partners but my EI runs out next month and there is a hiring freeze during a historically bad economic crisis and no one wants a trans marketing specialist and I am already bordering on broke so idk what I'm supposed to do. when I say 'I want to go home' I don't literally mean where I live, and this is a sentiment I've had since i was 16 years old, when I did in fact live at home already and wanted to go back to whatever home was supposed to be. Now, as a grown ass woman, I find myself saying 'I want to go home' a lot more than I thought I would, and I have even less idea of what home is now than I did when I was a kid.

I think a big part of the reason is that things feel hopeless and seem like they keep getting worse. And that I lack control over many if not all of the basic and important things in my life that someone would use to escape situations they would otherwise choose not to bear. And that when I try to change things inside my life the pushback isolates and alienates me from the social fabric I am reliant on for most of my basic needs right now. And that when I stop and do a self-inventory of what I can do held up to what I am able to do, it is grossly lacking. And that when I look at the limited opportunities around me that would help lift me out of my current place in life, they are actually not real. What's good with you?
