Likewise, though I just consume my slop through Invidious instead.

Man, Mastodon's weird @Monsterlady. It's like going from one extreme end of the political spectrum to the other. Everything seems a little too sanitary over there compared elsewhere with the usual suspects.

So @Seirdy, honest question. Do you happen to personally host pleroma.envs.net for Creme or have they more or less given you free reign over the Fediverse-facing stuff?

Seen your instance pop up on a Fediblock notification that had me intrigued @futzle. What's the story behind your instance name, why is it old.mermaid.town, is there a new mermaid town?

Let me get you started off. Calling upon all the horse(people) of the apocolypse, @oliphant, @Mastodon, @silverseams, @welshpixie, @tamitha and @silverseams. We have new fedi-alt instance ran by an inscrupulous individual seen associating with undesirables on the unmoderated side of #mastodon.

Lord, starting my course in five weeks' time from now. Honestly not sure what to make of it, I've been out of education for almost about a decade or so now.

Should probably know better by now than to get your news from legacy media. A lot of what is said is often skewered by political biases. My rule of thumb is to always just take what is said with a rule of thumb unless they can substantiate their claim with sources. I just don't have faith anymore in legacy media to give them the benefit of the doubt. Though, I suppose my circumstances are somewhat different as I follow different sources for tech-related news.
