@lowqualityfacts Here’s what I recommend everyone do on Mastodon.Have fun, follow who you want, post the things you want, be kind as a rule and pretend the bossy ones don’t exist.Works for me so far.

@lowqualityfacts while I may not think these particular things, I thoroughly enjoy people who do. Will that work?

@dnc I have a book that’s similar from the 1970s. If you let me know the recipe you are looking for I’ll pull it and see if it’s in there.

@grammargirl this is not a new problem, just a larger one than before. My high school English teacher in the 1970’s was a college professor of creative writing. He was getting such bad material from students that he quit the college gig and purposefully went back to teach high school to help turn that tide.I am thankful to have been one of his students. He was demanding, challenged us to think in the abstract and taught us Shakespeare. He made us work for our grades. Never an easy A.

@TonyStark Everyone elevates Revolution over evolution. But few revolutions stand the test of time like evolution. Grasping the power of evolving, understanding change takes time is fundamentally a sound strategy for getting where you need to go. Incremental progress holds better than upsetting the entire thing over a potentially imperfect outcome. Critical thinking demands patience and perseverance both. I wish people employed it more. But drama sells.
