@wziminer She was amazing, a true Renaissance woman. Some of the escapes and adventures are legendary. In one, she was in the hospital for evaluation but an escape risk so she wore an ankle monitor. Someone entered her locked room and found she had disassembled the drop ceiling looking for a way out. She was also missing her “non-removable” ankle monitor and they never found it 😂. That was her last hospital stay until she passed years later. @E_Turbo

@wziminer @KodiakIslandI liked Simon in Bridgeton but loved The Queen’s Gambit. I was looking for something mindless after January 20th and a friend recommended Bridgeton so I signed into my daughter’s Netflix acct. I’m now watching Outlander and I’m hooked. Just ordered the books. My bedroom windows are steaming up just writing about it! 😂😎 @timr

@wziminer Outlander? I just finished the last episode of Season 5 last night but it took 2 weeks to get the courage to look at it. I fast-forwarded through the worst of it. The books are supposed to be beautifully written.@KodiakIsland @timr

@wziminer Yes, I fast-forwarded through the rape scenes. No need to torture myself. And it does seem that some of the violence is gratuitous after the early shows.The show touches on 2 subjects that interest me - Scotland, as my grandfather was born and raised there and I have family there, and time travel. It doesn’t broaden knowledge of space-time fabric and other theories but I like the questions it triggers in my mind. @KodiakIsland @timr

@timr @trueblueTEX @umad80 @Rooibos @watch4thedrop Yes, he came here a few months after we followed Saul and Thomas from Twit. It was a much smaller group back then and he soon endeared himself to all. He was an almost daily contributor from the start so his silence is deafening.
