@frogsdottir I have to tell you about the first time I heard Dead Can Dance. Whenever Lisa Gerrard sang a tune, I was sure there was more than one person behind that voice, her range is absolutely incredible.

@frogsdottir I think she has mastered the way to work her throat, she makes very guttural sounds a bit like Germanic languages maybe? And I dunno how many octaves she can reach. Like I was stunned to learn that Yma Sumac could reach 7 octaves, I had read somewhere.
