Oh, lord. Social media users against Trump seem upset. Trump had fans in the courtroom (they were lucky enough to draw seats in the lottery system used by the court), then Trump walked out to fans, had fans lining the motorcade route, and when he stopped at a restaurant, fans greeted and cheered him. What people against Trump wanted is for Trump to be defeated and for him to look properly pathetic and chastised. My friends, Trump looking defeated, pathetic, and chastised is never going to happen. Never. I love you, but you need to let that desire go. If you don't let it go, then he has controlled you and, thus, won. Trump is a piece of shit. Truly, totally a pathetic excuse for a human being. That piece of shit was arraigned today on federal espionage and obstruction charges. Trump did not win today. Trump lost. The guy got what he deserved today. Deserved as stated by citizens like you and me, Florida citizens, who saw the evidence and told the Justice system that there is clear evidence Trump broke the law so indict him. That's your celebration. We earned it. Take it. Enjoy it. There is probably more like it coming.Now, turn off the television or the media platform you are viewing and/or on which you are now doom scrolling. Day 5 of Sitting the Grand Dogs:Supplies are low. It's apparent the Grand Dogs tolerate me because I bribe them with jerky snacks to pee outside instead of them demonstrating to me who actually owns this house by peeing in every room. If the jerky runs out, I will not be able to clean and disinfect fast enough. I will live in terror.The Family, excited to go meet their Senior Chief Dad in Hawaii, did not stock the refrigerator or cupboards. The extra-large pizza I ordered on Saturday night is now gone. @Aviva_Gary I feel I was lured by My Family into a highly volatile situation. They had The Grandies call me to play on my emotions. I was tricked.I suppose I will need to get out of my house sweats and into clean yoga pants in order to ((gasp)) drive to the store. Totally unacceptable.

@volkris @Savvyhomestead With the caveat that since the impeachment against Trump for the Ukraine incident, a vote must be taken to open the inquiry (aka, investigation). The vote was a maneuver of the DOJ under Trump in which the DOJ submitted an opinion that a vote must be taken to validate an impeachment inquiry. My understanding is McCarthy doesn't have the votes because outside the extremist House Freedom Caucus a number of House Republicans are not on board with this impeachment maneuver and are actually trying to distance themselves from it.Now, McCarthy has (so far) bypassed that vote. Rules for any branch of government are dizzyingly complex and I'm certainly not an expert (nor wish to be because life is short). My guess is that McCarthy is using the cover of keeping investigations in House Committees to bypass the required vote on an impeachment inquiry. That's what I see, anyway. Otherwise, perhaps, since the DOJ issued the "opinion" of a needed vote for inquiry the vote can be bypassed at will -- in which case it is proof to me of more MAGA political crap that was allowed under a MAGA Trump administration. Or, perhaps, McCarthy knows he's going to have to hold the vote and will stall as long as possible.
