Black and White Selfie Hey everybody, just doing my part in Pride month. To anybody who doesn’t know me I am a transgender woman, and as you can see I don’t pass as one right now. But guess what? This is me too, and I still go out every day as femme as I can be, S femme as my mental health will allow me. Every day I continue to be the authentic me, and I try to be proud of who I am right now.These pictures have been posted before, but I liked them with the black and white filter, even though the lighting isn’t close to perfect. But also? I’m not close to perfect either. The lack of color is representative of how I feel a lot of the time, and it’s during those times when I *feel* no color that I need to remember to love myself. It’s easy to forget. I don’t know photography, so I hate to call this #photography, but I’ll add it to that hashtag.#Trans #PrideMonth

The best thing about Linux is that it guarantees you will never have to wait on phone line for Windows customer support ever again 😂 Just enter your problem in your browser and it has probably already been solved and explained by a bunch of nerds on a forum somewhere who are getting impatient about solving such mundane problems for us less experienced folx. But... Back before smartphones were invented (unless you count Blackberry) and my problem was no internet connectivity, solving problems was much harder lol.

I do not like the twitchy fingers and hands side effect of my meds. It's mostly only problematic after I take my prn antipsychotic on top of my maintenance antipsychotic. This is because I'm at a very high dose already. But I worry it will become permanent whenever it happens.This is the nature of things tho. I have to decide how many side effects I can handle for any given amount of benefit. At lower dose I was taking up until a month ago, I was feeling early psychosis symptoms return every one to two weeks. My hope was that the increased dose would give me at least a few weeks of relative stability.#MentalIllness #MentalHealth #Schizoaffective #Schizophrenia #Psychosis #Bipolar
