       @fribbledomI think it would also have to know where you are in the room, because to get active noise cancellation, the noise and anti-noise need to meet *at your eardrum* and that is going to be very difficult with sound propagating from multiple sources...the waves are reflecting and interfering everywhere. There's a reason they only do it in headphones, because it's already being funnelled into linear pulses.@zatnosk @brunoph

       @fribbledomI can imagine! I'm thinking of walls that are actually giant arrays of piezo speakers...sounds very impressive if they're able to do it in specific environments already!@zatnosk @brunoph
