       @dave what makes up the this cabal called “the beltway media”. Ive seen the Washington Post call what the Republicans are doing as extortion so its obvious they’re not a part of it. Is that t the same as the mysterious “mainstream media” everyone conplains about?  We need some answers here

       @Radical_EgoCom @rbreich not asking for an opinion. I understand impeachment is only when you commit a crime, not for a policy issue.  That’s why Mayorkas could t be removed.  But I can’t find any legal precedent for removing a justice, as much as I find him abhorrent,

       @grumpybozo @Radical_EgoCom @rbreich I was able to find some references to impeachment of federal judges. There have been about a dozen.  The reasons for impeachment have been drunkenness, mental instability, bribery, sexual assault, tax evasion (there’s one for Thomas), practicing law while a judge, favoritism in appoint bankruptcy judges.  There have been two instances where they were impeached but acquitted

       @Loucovey @grumpybozo @Radical_EgoCom @rbreich don’t get me wrong, if it is at all possible to remove Alito and Thomas for their political views, I’m all for it.  That does leave the door open to do the same for every Justice that runs afoul of the majority in Congress, however.

       @grumpybozo I think that charge is valid for Thomas, but I'm not sure it can be nailed down for Alito.  We need hard evidence.  It's about as obvious as Sotomayor's
