@art Sweet! I've used RNNoise before but it distorts my voice, as I have a bit of an odd voice. It also works poorly for me if I record anything else like a musical instrument. I've honestly just been using and loving Speex. Definitely not as high tech, but works well for me!

I have a confession to make. I'm lonely. I can't connect with other people for a long list of reasons. Mostly that people aren't trustworthy. I can only connect if we have a mutual task, and we're having fun. Otherwise, I just can't make it happen. I cannot make friends. I can't give out my info. Too paranoid I guess. It's hard enough being an adult in a mostly foreign city.On top of that, I'm pathologically introverted. My social battery is low. I wish I could socialize properly.#schizoid

@trickster The two generals problem can be solved by two Napoleons. In advance, the two Napoleons take a pocket full of entangled electrons with them. There's no need to sent a messenger between camps, because all they've gotta do is wait for the shorter Napoleon to rotate all his electrons. When big Napoleon sees that his own electrons have rotated, it's time to strike. EZPZ. Computer science has been solved yet again by the little dude named after the ice cream.

Just when everything was starting to turn around for me -- a new stressor has entered my life. One that threatens me having to find a new place. The only positive side to this is that there has been no better time for me to have left my job. This issue is, of course, on top of other stressors going on in my life that I'm gunna hafta put on the back-burner for now. Things I was prepared to deal with as soon as possible now that I have time. Welp. C'est la vie en Lofenyy.

@emacsen It reminds me also of Richard Dawkins, who was once beloved by quite a few. One day, something in him flipped, and started saying some nasty stuff that went completely against many of his earlier works prior that made him popular in the first place. I myself am starting to think that maybe people really do change, often for the worst, very rapidly. Not sure what causes this kind of change though.
