Looking into moving to a more niche instance. Had contemplated mastodon.scot, but there seem to be quite a lot of transphobic accounts there. Any other contenders? Something #Academia #Coproduction #research orientated maybe?

@strypey no joke, they are sacking junior researchers and lecturers because our ‘overheads’ aka management salaries are so high. IT are restricted to what head of comms says can be used and because we have to undergo ‘restructuring’ every 18 months or so PLUS keep up with constantly cycling from old sharepoint to new sharepoint, they’re actually proper exhausted. It’s a shitty system.
