I'm looking for Mastodon posting advice.Anyone have any ideas for automatically posting new toots/boosts to a specific Discord channel? I tried using IFTTT and an RSS feed, but RSS feeds don't include boosts apparently. Also IFTTT is super slow.Additionally, I'm looking for a way to schedule posts in advance.Both are things I used for a couple Twitter accounts [TweetShift and TweetDeck] so it would be awesome to fully transition to over here. This will come as a surprise to no one, but I finally got scammed by Aliexpress. They took my money for a small item, it never arrived, I disputed, it was rejected, I appealed, was rejected again. All because I didn't provide "proof". How do I prove the item didn't arrive?! Absolutely moronic 😂

I used to be really into collecting sets of things when I was younger, but as I got older I sorta stopped spending my money in that way. Feeling kinda down lately because for some reason YouTube seems to be SUDDENLY suppressing/blacklisting my channel. Existing viewers/subs seem happy with my videos, but I've been cut off from new viewers for some unknown reason. So... r/Place didn't happen after all. If you haven't heard this crazy story: the past few weeks have been full of speculation and compelling evidence. We organized pixel art, developed tools, reached out to other factions to form alliances, set up a new Discord server, etc.Bronies put many hours of work into preparing for an event which ended up not existing. I keep saying I probably won't make a video for #rplace 2023, but there's already so much that happened and the event hasn't even started yet... it's crazy.I could make a video RIGHT NOW about the roller coaster of r/Place 2023 and have plenty to talk about 🤣First, no one expected r/Place this year, then we were certain it was coming April 1st, then nothing happened, then we were certain it's coming June 23rd, ...and now everyone's questioning whether Reddit is gonna exist soon at all. @Shredd_Tone That's sad to hear. I can't help but think locking things down so quickly and preventing people from following what they want to follow is the very thing Mastodon sought to combat. Seems like most of the discussion about Meta Threads is basically saying Mastodon should have a whitelist instead of a blacklist when it comes to blocking servers. I'd hate to see things go in that direction. I wish you all the best, but I'm probably gonna try out the migration feature and find a server which is more open soon.

@Shredd_Tone I definitely appreciate the hard work that goes into moderation and keeping a community safe. That is certainly not what I was alluding to when I expressed desire for a more open server.Is blocking Meta Threads a moderation matter? I thought it was more of an ideological protest. A protest which hurts the Fediverse a lot more than it hurts Meta in my opinion. They couldn't care less if we block them, but we miss out on reaching more people and helping ActivityPub break into the mainstream. Although I imagine there are moderation concerns too, most of the reasoning I've seen so far seems very vague and impractical. Even the official Mastodon blog seems optimistic about Threads. Not that they, I, or anyone already on Mastodon thinks people should have a Meta account to use it of course.
