@abcdw I only post in english really (native french speaker), as I find it's both easier and reaches more people. But I'm probably biased given I mostly *think* in english rather than french now.

@kzimmermann Reading this made me realize that's basically what I've been doing already without realizing.As I barely ever get attached to my files and every important gorvenment document is now accessible from the internet in my country.I'm pretty sure I could go for 8 GB of "important" files and probably 64 GB or less total as I never cared for pictures and digitally stored music!

@rudolf @telroy I do! Password Store clears it after a configurable amount of time, with an option to clear it 20 times in a row if you have a clipboard history, so I feel pretty safe :ablobcatwink:

Turns out trying to follow @kzimmermann 128 GB challenge, the TOTAL space of all of my files (including system, temp, duplicate files and all that crud) lands a little bit above 17 GB. I'm pleasently but heavily surprised by this honestly!

@metalune I've been running most of the suckless programs for a while and it's been great! Something about having a fully functional (and customizable!) machine that fits in about 8 to 16 gigs
