ShellCheck is like a SpellCheck for shell scripts. It will analyze your #shell #scripts and point out many of the embarrassing mistakes, flaws and potential corner-case problems you made writing them and propose changes. It is absolutely worth using on every shell script you write or use even if your shell scripts seemingly look and work just fine. https://linuxreviews.org/ShellCheck

GNU Zile 2.6.2 Is Released! Zile is a very minimal Emacs clone that is described in the brief manual page as "Zile Is Lossy Emacs". Zile developer Reuben Thomas is "happy to announce a shiny new 2.6.2 release of #GNU Zile" is exactly one bug-fix. And that's it. https://linuxreviews.org/GNU_Zile_2.6.2_Is_Released

The handy #rmw (ReMove to Waste) shell utility for moving files to a waste folder, instead of immediately deleting them, got another bug-fix release. Filenames now display correctly when using the -vvg option. That's it, that's all there is to rmw v0.7.09.https://linuxreviews.org/Rmw_v0.7.09_Is_Released
