@Honeyjello yeah that was a big issue for me as well. Like I was SOLD on the trailers for this. I really loved those first 2 or 3 hours. But it turned into a j-drama the second the sun came up. And its not that any of that was bad either, but as far as I recall we don’t get ANY more night segments after that first chunk, everything is resolved in like a single 24 hours it feels like.And that ending just drove me nuts. The game never really asks you to break immersion aside from a particular cursed guy early on. I assumed these were just like.. endcaps for each chapter (which they were) but I didn’t think it was really supposed to imply a lot of thinking outside-the-box.

@Honeyjello is it weird I was hoping they’d go darker with it? It felt like it was headed more to a place where I think a Teacher was implied to have been harassing students but it felt like it just got dropped before that?

@mangeurdenuage @RehnSturm256 Maybe? But that’s really specific verbiage when you pair “Generational” and “Reproduce”. There’s a much stronger implication of “pull the tree at the roots” there with that language than “don’t traumatize and abuse kids”.
