The only state where nunchucks are not legal is Massachusetts. I live in Massachusetts. I am unconcerned since these are not really nunchucks but instead two small flasks to add to my collection of interesting flasks.

Designed and whipped up a few of these yesterday. I've seen something like them a few years ago and they are much more refined than the company branded bean bag phone stand I used to use. Plus, these fold flat and take up very little space. Now that everyone uses two factor authorization I have to keep my mobile on my desk. #leather #handmade #diy #maker #MobileStand

I'm wondering whether I should make a few of these for #FallFest or whether people are content to just lay their phones on their desks. The $45 price point (the stamping, hand dying and detailed hand stitching up the labour to a few hours) might scare people away. Still, it's a good gift for someone who has everything.

I love how Mastodonians seem happy when someone has a spot of good luck. In other areas of the internet people behave as though your gain is their loss but as I've seen expressed elsewhere, life isn't a pie. Mastodonians share happiness instead of trying to tamp it down. Today I saw someone toot, in dismay, people are posting their everyday life to Mastodon when they could simply buy a diary for $1.99. I can't stop thinking about this. What if this is all they have? What if they're isolated with or without people in their life? What if the only kind word they hear this week is, "That's cool"? I say, post your mundane. Post anything you want. While being silenced everywhere else, don't be silent here.
