On @OffTheHook , @thegibson is making a point about how the Big Tech can gets as en💩itified as they want, the real full Internet users (I am looking at you Fediverse) will keep doing what we want to do without them. #Veilid and #VeilidChat is an example.He's completely correct! It reminds me of back when people thought AOL was "The Internet" before everyone moved over to the actual Web. My response was: Great! Keep Grandma and Uncle Racists over on AOL, walled off from the real users. The have to smarten up before they can come over here and ruin our fun. I loved AOL, because they keep those walls for people, but then went and paid for things I liked, such as Nulsoft or Netscape or MapQuest.

YouTube is failing due to the uBlock Origin. I can get around it by disabling it, then clicking through and telling YouTube I disabled it, then re-enabling it before anything plays. (It still downloads, but I don't have to watch it.)I just wanted to share the experience in case anyone else is seeing it.

I had custom filters, which I am pasting here, that was breaking it.
