I love how when I first asked if I could wear my "they\them" pin the higher ups said it was fine. but the moment they realized what that meant. (and another employee started wearing his pride pin) its suddenly "not appart of uniform" and "we can't have political statements" like bitch. my gender ain't political. I know damn well they didn't care till it was pride month. half way through it at that. fuckers...

I find funny that with being forced to wear a mask at work. ppl - older white men in general - can't tell women or female presenting (non binary or trans or otherwise) to "smile more." I've also realized that that sweet fake smile with the nice eyes turns into a dead eyed emotionless stare on everyone....apparently a smile really can hide your feelings and the eyes tell them all.

@Metaph food lion. it's like a ShopRite for the south. and it's not that they don't want us to wear pins for pride because it's homophobic if them. but more trying to protect us from shitty homophobic costumers. there was an incident a few years ago where some guy got violent with our manager... so I get why we can't have them but it fucking sucks

@Metaph yeaaa and in recent month there have been A LOT of ppl in MAGA hats and trump2020 shirts that would come to shop. most of which would be super passive aggressive or just straight up avoid my register all together. like honey. going to that other register ain't gonna make a difference once my co-workers opens his mouth and starts talking. he will make you uncomfortable on purpose.most of us are part of the LGBT so even tho we couldnt wear pins we are still quite vissable regardless

I witnessed some bullshit today. two ppl came in to my store. and they were arguing kinda loudly. but the contense of the argument deffinitally coulda been done in a less public place. drugs where mentioned. the white girl was asking her friend a black women for money. I'm sure you can guess why. but she shut that down cause she don't believe this white girls kids should be around that. I agreed with that sentement for sure.

well they leave and then the next thing we know the police show up an ambulance shows up and fire fighters show up. this little white shit called the police crying about being assulted. none of saw any physical contact. just loud arguing. this poor little shit gets walked around the store by the cop to calm her self while the other lady gets led off in handcuffs.
