@fuxoft I'm guessing this is a pattern-matching exercise (not that that makes it particularly useful). Like I'd expect a recent lecture or section of the book to have shown the identity, and students would be given some examples to match up in homework, without having to work it out by hand.

I share this sentiment myself, but I I’ve also heard folks say they prefer joining a Discord server and getting their question answered “in real time”, which is interesting to me. Why would Discord be—or just feel?—faster than a forum? https://fosstodon.org/@AstralPegasus98/109428109827887734

I got to #DadJoke my Dad! I was explaining that a Thunderbolt port can do everything a USB-C port can do plus more, and I suddenly realized that means: Thunderbolt is USB-C++. 😁

I just discovered that @MonaApp will now automatically attach a description to a photo if that description is stored in the photo’s info! I started saving descriptions to photos of mine when I was posting them and needed #AltText, in case I might post them again. I used to open the photo and copy the description manually, but now it comes along automatically! 😍#a11y

@futurebird @alienghic I got a voicemail a few months ago that was exclusively this sound, and I felt so much affection for it but also vaguely uneasy, like it was a desperate attempt by someone/something from the past to send a warning to us here in the future.
