There's something very compelling about taking a game and modding it into oblivion. I think it's somewhat similar to what I like about giant crossover fanfics that aren't just jokes or genre soup stories like doctor mcninja.

I always think about the possibility of a game that can give a similar experience as Minecraft or Skyrim with 250+ random mods installed but I don't know if that experience can even be created on purpose by a single person or team of people.

@abloo Something closer to the former. The latter is a game which doesn't want to be played. Makes me think of those games that want you to dig around and edit files in your desktop, maybe something cool could be done with that too
