@Gnomeshatecheese Yes there was an audio guy a while back doing side by sides of reloads and originals, was pointing out the subtle changes. He also compared Over the Rainbow by Judy Garland and Kelly Clarkson. No shade on Clarkson other than to point out that he could tell where the tech was sparingly involved despite her being an excellent singer, and as a result, why well never get another Judy.

Interesting piece, I didn't realise Ricki Lee Jones attempted to sue. I'm a huge fan of the track, but I did wonder as a read along what the sex difference is in sampling? In my experience, it's a very male art form but thinking back over the years those who have made it big did so with a heavy use of female vocals, not often widely acknowledged or paid for. I've ballixed up my left wrist this morning. Just over a year since my right wrist fell in a tragic pavlova whisking episode. Common demoninator's appear to be cold weather, vibrations (this time I think from getting the crappy old buggy out in the rain) and I'm not gonna lie, had two sessions this past month that I think I'm no longer fit for.

@ninafromcanadaeh When my ex was living on the streets he was talking to a recent prison leaver. Guy said the only thing the authorities were interested in setting him up with on leaving prison was ID, hard copy for him, digital record for them. The only help the local homeless charity was to try and set him up with a phone and a Revolut card.

@HebrideanHecate ADHD-type or like behaviours that develop later in life should probably get their own discipline and name. I've stated many times and will continue to do so, that my most ADHD-esq child was noticeably hyper active in utero. To the point that I'd wake at night from the activity. So I obviously see a difference between the two. He's never been on social media, other than YouTube, though its probably fair to say that scrowling is a curse that features in multiple platforms, not just SM, and it doesn't exactly help build attention spans.
