@lordampersand (You're welcome!) I could also imagine that a mixed technique could be fun, using the brush pen for all the broader strokes and only doing the details with a fineliner. I'm sure you'll figure out something that'll work for you :)

Read some advice on drawing entangled poses today! Which is to start by constructing the heads and torsos first, since they are the heart of the pose. Once those proportions are looking good in relation to each other, figure out the placement of the limbs.Tried it here and I think it really helped me sort out the process! I'm currently writing a story that features bits of fantasy racism, and the characters encounter a "We don't serve your kind here" scenario in which the protag's friend is excluded from an inn.What would be a preferred act of solidarity in this context, and how should it best be framed? My current plan is to have the protag join his friend outside.I'd be grateful for some opinions on this, since I don't want to write something that feels pandering or offensive.
