Mutual aid request: A dear transfem friend of mine had a sudden radiator failure in the vehicle she uses for work, which is also an important resource for several other broke trans people. This is terrible timing because she needs it fixed for the registration in a couple weeks. On top of that, she is facing potentially losing her job due to her employers worsening health problems, herself a longstanding pillar of the local trans community. The total cost so far comes to $1300. So far we've gotten about $200. If we can't raise that she's gonna have to scrap it due to having nowhere to store an unregistered car where it won't get towed. Yanno now that my attention is drawn to it, I sure did spend alot of time disassociated and chainsmoking. Y'all, I'm down to about 13 now, I was smoking between 25 and 30 cigarettes a day, plus the occasional sundry Black & Mild.

We've raised just under $1000 so far, which is just barely enough to cover the diagnostics and a radiator hose replacement, so she can actually pay to get the mechanic to give it back to her. However, in order to actually cover the cost of fixing the condensing system, a new radiator, and the smog+registration we still need to raise $2500. Oh my fuck, pumpkin and beets go so well together this soup is SO fucking good. Also, cucumber? Goes surprisingly well blended into every stock I've tried it in. Yellow curry? Excellent. Miso broth?
